I am originally from California, moving here in 1968. I received a degree in Art Education from Cal State Northridge in 1967, and received a degree in Fine Arts from WSU in 1984. In the 1990’s, I began experimenting with abstract art, making the change completely a decade later.
I like to move with the rhythm of the paint; using color, line, and shape to convey my feelings and emotions. I have recently been experimenting with painting to music. Many of my paintings come from from memories of my past and of places in California.
I have been showing locally for the laast few years, mostly with the group called “8 Women Artists”, and have been included in the last three juried “Small Oil Paintings” shows.
