dugan-bw-web_0I love the landscape, it’s brilliance in the noonday sun, it’s gentle allure in the shadows. I see light and color as the foremost theme of my work. It is the ever-changing landscape, it’s mystery and emotion I pursue in my pastel paintings.

I have been a student of nature since my girlhood on a diary farm. I have been in awe of the changing seasons since that time.

I live on the south bank of the Cowskin Creek, therefore I witness each season as it begins and progresses to its conclusion and slowly changes to the next one each year. The season are a part of me as is the beauty of the sunsets. They are my inspiration. Each day is a unique experience with nature. I am truly blessed
